Internationally established Hungarian violinist Marta Abraham leads a two-part lecture and performance of Bach’s ‘Ciaccona’, at King Charles Court.
The first part of the lecture will look at the historical and social changes in music education and the evolution of editions. The second part will focus on the contradiction between polyphony and the inadequacy of the instrument. At the end of the lecture, Marta will perform the piece that has been discussed.
